At first we need to understand dissolved oxygen.It is amount of oxygen dissolved i.e. homogeneously mixed with water and this is the oxygen avilable to aquatic animals inorder to survive i.e. for respiration.This dissolved oxygen is also effected by temperature as water molecules get vibrated on heating so high tempr contain less dissolved oxygen and it contain fish which need less oxygen like Cat fish.

Eutrophication is addition of pollutants,sweage or any product to water bodies which rich in nutrient mainly nitrates and phosphates.Then it causes increse in algae bloom in pond which causes change in colour of pond to green and it also block sunlight entry to lower surface of pond.After that phytplants and other die due to lack of sunlight and then these plants gets decomposed by phytoplants which uses dissolved oxygen.hence hypoxia condition gets formed  which causes death of aquatic animals and palnts.Increase in pollution in water decreases dissolve power of oxygen so less oxygen in polluted water so by measuring this quality of water can be checked.
Some of these algae also realse harmful substance which effect domestic animal health and human body by causing irritaion to human skin and other respiratory disease.
After certain times due to lack of dissolved oxygen only floating plants are found latter they also die and after one two decadae it can get changed to marshy land.
